This Privacy Policy applies to all users of ArtTag, including those using our free services and those with premium subscriptions.

• Authentication information when using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In

• Notes, descriptions, and tags associated with your artwork

• Device type and operating system
• App usage statistics and interaction patterns
• Camera and photo library access (with your permission)

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Core Functionality

• To create and maintain your account
• To display your profile to other users
• To organize and present your artwork in galleries and projects
• To facilitate social interactions with other artists

3.2 OpenAI Integration

• When you explicitly choose to use our AI Assistant feature, we may analyze your artwork using OpenAI's technology to provide personalized insights
• Your artwork data is only shared with OpenAI when you actively engage with the AI Assistant feature
• Data shared with OpenAI through our AI Assistant feature is NOT used to train OpenAI's models
• OpenAI may retain data processed through their API for up to 30 days solely for service provision and abuse detection, after which it is removed from their systems unless legally required to be retained
• You maintain ownership of your content even when processed by AI
• Using the AI Assistant feature constitutes consent to using the AI features powered by OpenAI. Users who choose not to use the AI features can opt to use the rest of the apps functionality without AI assistant

3.3 App Improvement

• To understand user behavior and improve app features
• To identify and fix technical issues
• To develop new features based on user patterns

3.4 Communications

• To send push notifications about creative goals, project reminders, and social engagement (with your permission)
• To respond to your questions and provide support
• To send important updates about the app

4. Free and Premium Features

ArtTag offers both free and premium services. Your personal data is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of whether you use our free or premium features.

4.1 Free Features Include:

• Up to 5 updates per project
• Standard image quality (jpeg compression)
• 3 API calls per month
• 3 unique galleries

4.2 Premium Features Include:

• Unlimited project updates
• HD image quality (no jpeg compression)
• Unlimited API calls
• Unlimited galleries

Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. For more information about subscriptions, pricing, and billing, please see our Terms of Service.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your profile information, images, and user content are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud)
• Your data is also stored locally on your device for offline access
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information
• While we take precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

6.1 Service Providers

• Firebase (Google Cloud) for data storage and authentication
• OpenAI for artwork analysis and creative insights when you use AI-related features
• Analytics providers to help us understand app usage

6.2 Social Features

• Your profile name, profile picture, and any content you choose to make public will be visible to other ArtTag users
• Your real first and last name will be displayed to facilitate authentic community interactions

6.3 Legal Requirements

7.1 Account Information

• You can update your profile information at any time through the app
• You can adjust what information is visible to other users in the privacy / sharing section of each upload

7.2 AI and Analysis Controls

• You can control how our OpenAI-powered features interact with your content through the AI Assistant settings
• Users who choose not to use the AI features can opt to use the rest of the apps functionality without AI assistant

7.3 Communications

• You can opt-out of push notifications through your device settings
• You can manage email communications through app settings

7.4 Data Deletion

• You can request deletion of your account and associated data through the app's account deletion feature

8. Children's Privacy

• ArtTag requires users to be at least 13 years of age
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13
• If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information
